Como va siendo ya habitual, para despedir el verano y junto con un puñado de buenos amigos, nos hicimos un recorrido por las Bases de Helicópteros qué, en época veraniega, están situadas en el Norte y Oeste de la Comunidad de Madrid. Este es el log de dos días de carreteras de montaña, bosques y helicópteros (¡y un avión!). Como siempre, estas páginas están dedicadas a todos los Pilotos, Mecánicos y Brigadas que velan por el cuidado de nuestros bosques. A ellos.
Around Madrid there is a mountain range (La
Sierra) that is covered of important forests. In the past, these
forests often catched fire. For this reason, the public administration
had built some "Forestal Bases" placed in strategic places and
gifted of a minimum of one helicopter.
Last days, I made a trip around the north
and west
side of La Sierra. More than 600 kms. of mountains roads
for visiting 10 bases. This is the log that I´ve seen in this
tour
and I would like to dedicate it to all the people who
keep our/your forests away of the fire.
